Fourteen people lost their lives in the collapse of the Novi Sad Railway Station canopy that occurred on 01 November, as stated by Interior Minister Ivica Dacic. The mayor of Novi Sad, Milan Djuric, reported over 30 injuries in the incident, which occurred just before noon. ZAGREB, 6 Nov (Hina) - Eight individuals were detained by police after a protest rally on Tuesday evening in Novi Sad where protesters expressed their revolt at the deadly incident on 1 November when the city railway station canopy collapsed killing 14 people and injuring three more.
