"Croatians: Globally Connected. Locally Shaped" conference held by ACAP in Las Vegas

ZAGREB, 17 Oct (Hina) - The Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP) has recently held its annual conference with the theme "Croatians: Globally Connected. Locally Shaped" in Las Vegas, with over 250 participants from the USA, Canada and Croatia attending the event.

Over 70 speakers took part in 25 panels and workshops at the two-day conference which highlighted Croatian know-how and global business practices, including how to do business in the U.S.

The participants had the opportunity to exchange information on different business disciplines and leadership styles vital for enabling us to stay relevant in the changing business world, said Jasmine Golubić, who presided over the conference.

Some of the speakers were Pete Radovich, Senior Creative Director, CBS Sports, Victor Dodig, President and CEO, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Iva Vukina, Managing Director, Goldman Sachs, Vladimir Ivković, Neuroscientist, Harvard University, and Principal Investigator, NASA’s CIPHER Project.

Also, Croatia's Defence Minister Ivan Anušić and Ambassador to Washington Pjer Šimunović addressed the conference.

ACAP President Maria Sentic underscored that the 10th anniversary of ACAP represents a watershed.
