The designer presented her collection at the Bridge Club, located under the Pont Alexandre III bridge. The bridge, built in honour of the 1900 Exposition Universelle, is an iconic part of the Paris skyline, connecting the Grand Palais on the left bank with the Petit Palais on the right bank.
Before Dojčinović, the same venue hosted shows by Valentino and Dior last year, and this year John Galliano presented his Maison Margiela Artisanal collection there.
The collection Dojčinović showcased in the French capital takes Lei Lou in a completely new fashion direction, with the highlight being the carefully selected fabrics such as cupro, a new plant-based material.
The press release said the collection is not couture, but rather a prêt-à-porter capsule, meaning that everything presented is wearable and affordable for many customers.
