An estimated 150,000 visitors from 140 countries are expected to attend the festival, which is taking place in Split until Sunday. The festival then moves to Bol on the island of Brač on Monday, to Hvar on the island of the same name on Tuesday and to the island of Vis on Wednesday.
About 300 airplanes are expected at Split Airport at the weekend.
The festival features Adam Beyer, Afrojack, Alison Wonderland, Armin van Buuren, Axwell, Boris Brejcha, Camelphat, Deborah de Luca, DJ Snake, Eric Prydz, Hardwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Mar+In Garrix, Vini Vici and Vintage Culture, among others.
Over the past 10 years, 1.3 million people have come to Split for this festival.
