ZAGREB, 9 July (Hina) - The 54th edition of the Varaždin Baroque Evenings will take place from 20 September to 2 October in that northern Croatian city, with Portugal being the partner country.
The programme of this festival of classical music, presented in Varaždin on Tuesday, includes 15 concerts in the city plus 10 concerts at venues outside Varaždin and other entertainment programmes.
The Portuguese Orquestra Barocca Casa de Musica and soprano Sara Braga Simões will usher in the Evenings with their concert in Varaždin Cathedral.
Portuguese Ambassador Maria Paula Viera Leal da Silva thanked the hosts for choosing Portugal as the partner for this year's edition.
