The festival opens with the children's puppet opera "Ero the Joker", directed by Krešimir Dolenčić and performed by the Zagreb Puppet Theatre, to be broadcast live on national television.
During two weeks, more than 200 drama, literary, art, film and sports programmes will take place in the streets and squares of Šibenik. Fifty festival workshops will be attended by more than a thousand children.
Artists from India, Italy, Spain, North Macedonia, Brazil, Portugal, Japan, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland and Germany are coming to the 64th International Children's Festival Šibenik.
The morning part is reserved for a workshop programme that will host a number of big names from the domestic and international art scene.
