According to the press release, prominent representatives of renowned companies were among those present, from the banking, construction, real estate and hospitality sectors, including members of the Association of Croatian American Professionals.
The meeting discussed the current challenges faced by Croatian American entrepreneurs, as well as their experiences and plans when it comes to investing in Croatia.
There is a common assessment that Croatia's strategic achievements, such as membership in NATO, the European Union, the euro and Schengen areas, as well as everything that Croatia is doing on its way to membership in the OECD, make our country significantly more attractive than before, both for American investors of Croatian origin, as well as others, the press release said.
At the same time, when it comes to potential mutual investments, the importance of the entry into force of the Double Taxation Avoidance Treaty, which should significantly reduce the burden on entrepreneurs and investors, was particularly underlined.
Jandroković thanked those gathered for continuously nurturing strong ties with the home country, as well as for everything they do to strengthen economic and other ties between their two homelands. Finally, he stressed that it is clear that their involvement, in addition to business, also has a strong emotional and patriotic component, which Croatia recognises and appreciates, the press release said.
