Marcich was elected a member of the EFAD Board in September 2020 and his three-year term was renewed in September this year.
"I will do my utmost to make sure that together we help meet the unprecedented challenges independent European creators are facing. We must never lose sight of the fact that Europe derives its strength from its diversity," he said.
EFAD is the voice of national European film agencies, bringing together national film and audiovisual agencies from European countries. EFAD membership covers the European Union countries as well as Iceland, Norway, the Republic of North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Its board is the executive body and consists of senior representatives of national film and audiovisual centres. Its members are elected from among full members of EFAD.
