Preference in receiving scholarships will be given to students who are studying for high demand professions and jobs, such as those in healthcare sector, dentistry, IT, or mathematics and science teachers, etc., as well as to successful and award-winning students and students from low-income families, and those who volunteer.
The list of all units that provide scholarships would be long, because as the Central State Office for Demography and Youth determined in its research for last year, as many as 96 percent of the 128 cities provide school or student scholarships, that is 79 percent of the 428 municipalities and 90 percent of the counties. Many municipalities that do not award scholarships, partly due to the large amount of allocations from the budget, award one-off grants.
