ZAGREB, 29 Sept (Hina) - Croatia has registered 909 new coronavirus cases and 10 related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Thursday.
There are 5,149 active cases in the country, of whom 435 people are being treated in hospital, including 10 placed on ventilators, while 3,347 are self-isolating.
Since 25 February 2020, when the first coronavirus case was confirmed in the country, 1,231,575 people have contracted the novel virus, of whom 16,902 have died and 1,209,524 have recovered.
To date, 59.62 per cent of the total population, or 70.90 per cent of adults, have been vaccinated.
