Gobekli Tepe is a UNESCO-listed archaeological site in the southeastern region of Anatolia which had been used for religious purposes until the 8th millennium BCE when it was abandoned.
This year's programme includes nine events, including an exhibition of the ceramics of Anatolian civilisations at the Ethnographic Museum, a lecture by cellist Ugur Isik at the Music Academy, a ceramics workshop at the School of Applied Arts and Design, as well as a culinary workshop, led by two renowned Turkish chefs, at the Hotel Esplanade in the northern Adriatic resort town of Crikvenica.
The event runs until May 18.
