During his sermon at the solemn mass, the Bishop of Roman Catholic Diocese of Eisenstadt, Agidius Zsifkovics, spoke about the importance of freedom and called on political stakeholders to steer Croatia in the right direction so as to halt the emigration of young people.
In attendance at the ceremonies were top Croatian officials, including President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Parliament Speaker Bozo Petrov, and several government ministers and lawmakers.
The 1045th edition of the Feast of St. Blaise ends on Sunday.
