Croatian Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff General Mirko Sundov said it was important to invest in people, their development and specialisation, including through the exchange of cadets and officers.
He said the Croatian Military Academy Dr. Franjo Tudjman, where the annual conference is taking place, was developing, in cooperation with the academic and international community, so that it could meet all the challenges before the Armed Forces.
CEFME is a voluntary association of the military universities in the central European region founded in 2007 on the initiative of the University of Defence, Czech Republic. Its members are Austria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia.
