The goods were exported to NATO and European Union member states as well as Africa, Asia, South and North America, Australia and New Zealand. The most important market was the United States, where the most valuable contracts were signed for gun exports and military vessel maintenance.
The principal Croatian exporters of weapons and military equipment were HS Produkt, which exports the HS 2000 gun and the VHS 1 and 2 assault rifles, Sestan Busch, which makes helmets, and DOK-ing, which makes demining machines.
