The Ferien-Messe Wien, a leading public access tourism trade fair in Austria, has brought together over 700 exhibitors, including the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) and a dozen Croatian tour operators and companies.
The HTZ also used this opportunity to promote the national tourism under the new slogan "Croatia Full of Life!"
The HTZ director-general Ratomir Ivicic said that Croatia was regarded as a close and safe tourist destination.
During his stay in Viena for at the fair that ends on Sunday, Ivicic will give interviews to local media outlets.
In 2015, nearly 1.2 million Austrian guests visited Croatia, spending 6.5 million nights, which was by 9% and 8.2% respectively higher than in 2014.
