The four films to be screened are a documentary - "Bolesno" (Sick) by Hrvoje Mabic; a feature film, "Kosac" (The Reaper) by Zvonimir Juric and two short films, "Vrapci" (The Sparrows) by Runara Runarssona and "Itsi Bitsi" by Ole Christian Madsen.
Mabic's film is competing in the New Filmakers Competition section dedicated to authors who have at most two features films, the Croatian Audio Visual Centre reported. The film recently premiered at the Warsaw international film festival.
Juric's film which was co-produced by Kinorama and the Slovenian Forum from Ljubljana and has been included in the non-competitive International Programme.
The other two films refer to two Croatian minority co-productions that will be screened In the Nordic Focus Special Presentations programme among 60 films from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Sweden and Norway.
"Vrapci", has received awards at the San Sebastian and Warsaw festivals and will participate in the Competition section of the festival while "Itsi Bitsi" will be screened in the Perspectives section.
