In the year of its 135th anniversary, the museum put on display 75 of 93 graphics from the collection the museum has kept since 1882, when the collection was acquired by Izidor Krsnjavi, the museum's founder.
The graphics are part of the Cabinet du Roi edition, a project designed to permanently commemorate what illustrates the greatest accomplishments of France's most important king in science and art, architecture, fine and applied arts, drama art, opera and ballet.
The museum's director, Miroslav Gasparovic, said the exhibition was prompted by the Randez-vous Festival of France in Croatia and that it marked another important anniversary - the 300th anniversary of Louis XIV's death.
Attending the opening of the exhibition was also French Ambassador Michelle Boccoz. The exhibition closes on January 3.
