Some of the guests are Indian philosopher Vandana Shiva, Greenpeace executive director Kumi Naidoo, Australian economics professor Steve Keen, Ugo Mattei of the International University College in Turin, Chinese intellectual Wang Hui, film-maker Joshua Oppenheimer, representatives of the Spanish left-wing anti-capitalist political party Podemos, members of the Greek left-wing political party Syriza, and Slovenian political activist Luka Mesec.
The Subversive Festival includes political, activist, cultural, educational, literary and art events whose goal is mulling over resistance to neo-liberalism.
The festival's films will be shown at Tuskanac, Europa, Gric and KIC cinemas on May 3-10.
