Vucic discusses outstanding issues with Pusic, meets briefly with Milanovic

ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Hina) - Croatia's First Deputy Prime Minister Vesna Pusic and Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic discussed in Zagreb on Sunday outstanding issues and future relations between the two countries, and Vucic also met briefly with Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic.

The senior Croatian and Serbian officials held talks after the inauguration of the new Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic earlier in the day.

"We discussed the possibility of cooperation in cross-border projects that are supported by the European Union," Pusic said in a joint statement for the press.

"We discussed outstanding issues, but primarily the future," Vucic said, adding that he also had a brief meeting with his Croatian counterpart Milanovic.

Vucic said that Serbia was turned to the future, and he believed that Croatia was, too. "We discussed the future, how we will cooperate, how we can help one another in enhancing our economic and political cooperation," he said.

"We are really satisfied and grateful because it seems that Croatia, too, is turned to the future in that regard. Serbia definitely is, we want good relations with Croatia and we are not hiding it," the Serbian PM said.

"What I am saying in Zagreb I am also saying in Belgrade. We will continue on that path and I believe that we will have concrete results."
