The problem of the missing is our common problem and we want to resolve it but please let's be objective about that, Vucic said after Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitaorivc's inauguration ceremony.
In her inaugural address Grabar-Kitarovic underscored that in relations with Serbia, the status of the missing persons form the Homeland War shall have a special place.
"We want that problem to be solved but we have to understand, and yet nobody wishes to talk about that, there are also missing persons sought by the other side," Serbia's PM said.
He added that this was a job for the presidents and governments of both countries. "That is my job too, and (President) Nikolic's and (PM) Milanovic's and Grabar-Kitarovic's," said Vucic.
According to Vucic, authorities in Serbia and Croatia need to make decisions that will be to the mutual benefit of both countries, "and not for the sake of pleasing someone or not."
"I'm not concerned that there is a significant odiuml in Serbia's public of my arrival (at the ceremony in Zagreb). I am proud of the fact that, in my opinion, I am representing my country well and that it's good that I came here. This is a great, important day for Croatia and we respect that," Serbia's PM said.
