(Hina) - A lawyer for Zadar Mayor Bozidar Kalmeta, a
Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) official and former transport
minister, has appealed against the decision of the Croatian Serious
Fraud Office (USKOK) to widen an investigation into alleged murky
dealings in the state-run motorway operator HAC during Kalmeta's
ministerial term, after USKOK reported that Kalmeta was under
investigation.
