SKABRNJA, Nov 17
(Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ)
presidential candidate, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, on Monday expressed
confidence that an investigation into former HDZ transport minister
Bozidar Kalmeta on suspicion of corruption would not affect her
campaign for Croatia's president, while HDZ Secretary-General Milijan
Brkic said that this strongest Opposition party was concerned about
possible misuse of the prosecutorial authorities for electioneering
purposes in the run-up to the presidential election.
