(Hina) - Two world wars, terror and persecutions
claimed more than 60 million lives in Europe in the past century,
causing immeasurable suffering to the continent, German Ambassador to
Croatia Hans Peter Annen said in Zagreb's central cemetery Mirogoj on
Sunday, at a ceremony commemorating victims of all wars and of
violence and terror, during which a wreath was laid at a grave of
German soldiers killed in World War II.
