Local budget not adopted, Vukovar facing early vote

VUKOVAR, March 28 (Hina) - The Vukovar Town Council on Friday did not adopt a draft budget for 2014 proposed by Mayor Zeljko Sabo of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) because the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and the Croatian Party of Rights - Dr Ante Starcevic (HSP AS) as well as independent councillor Zeljko Pinjuh were against the budget proposal, whereby conditions were met to dissolve the Town Council and call an early local election.
