ZAGREB, March 12
(Hina) - A proposed budget revision may seriously
undermine Croatia's combat readiness, some of the members of the
parliamentary Defence Committee said on Wednesday. Deputy Defence
Minister Visnja Tarfa also expressed her dissatisfaction with the
draft budget revision saying that any further cuts in the defence
budget would bring into questions Croatia's ability to meet the tasks
it has assumed as a NATO member.
