ZAGREB, Feb 7
(Hina) - According to preliminary estimates, freezing
rains and harsh winter conditions at the start of February caused a
minimum 50 million kuna damage to the power provision grid in Gorski
Kotar, leaving residents of that mountainous Croatian region without
electricity for days, executives of the national power provider (HEP)
said at a news conference in Zagreb on Friday.
