ZAGREB, Feb 6
(Hina) - Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic has said that
after the large-scale damage caused by freezing rain over this past
weekend in Gorski Kotar, it is evident that it is necessary to spread
underground electrical cables for providing electricity throughout
that mountainous Croatian region, while Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic
has announced a possibility for this region to apply for assistance
from the European Union's solidarity fund after being hit by this
natural disaster.
