(Hina) - Istria County Prefect Valter Flego, who has
been charged with embezzling 539,500 kuna of budgetary funds while
serving as the mayor of Buzet, said on Monday it was incomprehensible
why the Public Administration Ministry had now changed its
interpretation that the salaries had been paid according to law and
why the ministry was now insisting on sanctions.
