ZAGREB, Nov 4
(Hina) - Croatian Neven Mates, who was appointed to
the European Court of Auditors (ECA) contrary to the European
Parliament's opinion, said on Monday that he had not withdrawn his
application for that post, despite a negative vote in the parliament
regarding his appointment, as he had been urged by Prime Minister
Zoran Milanovic not to give up.
