ZAGREB, March 12
(Hina) - Vinko Martinovic also known as Stela, who
was convicted by the UN tribunal for war crimes, was on Tuesday
cleared of accusations that in 1996 he had killed Jasmina Djukic in
Mostar, southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the acquittal rendered by
the Zagreb County Court ensued after Martinovic, who holds both
Croatian and Bosnian citizenship, was given eight years in 1998 for
the Djukic murder.
