Speaking at the Zagreb County Court, Primorac said the HDZ did all its marketing through the Masol company and that the party had enough money, from donations, membership fees and the state budget.
Primorac could not remember anyone from Fimi Media coming to his ministry, saying he found out about the agency from the media after he was no longer in office.
"The persons in charge of finances enjoyed the complete confidence of the presidency and no questions were ever asked about that."
Like Sanader's other former associates called to testify in his favour, Primorac said no one had restricted him from stating his positions at presidency meetings.
