ZAGREB, Feb 19
(Hina) - The Croatian People's Party (HNS) on
Tuesday advocated in parliament that elections for Croatian members to
the European Parliament be held on a different day to local elections,
while the Opposition supported the idea that both elections be held
together and the major partner in the ruling coalition, the Social
Democratic Party (SDP), said that the date for the European election
was not up for bargaining.
