ZAGREB, Feb 15
(Hina) - Lora Vidovic was appointed the new Public
Ombudswoman by the Croatian parliament on Friday with a majority vote
while Opposition parties -- the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), the
Labour Party and the Croatian Democratic Party of Slavonia and Baranja
(HDSSB) -- walked out of the session in protest, arguing that the
Opposition had not been consulted in the candidacy process.
