Bosnian Serb police receive request for help in Zagreb bomber probe

SARAJEVO, Jan 15 (Hina) - The Interior Ministry of the Bosnian Serb entity has received a request from Croatia for assistance in the investigation of Vojislav Blazevic, who is suspected of two bomb explosions in Zagreb last week, and will do everything that is necessary to establish the facts, ministry spokeswoman Mirna Soja told Hina on Tuesday.

She said the ministry received the request this morning "and we are willing to undertake all the necessary investigation measures and actions."

Blazevic was born in Banja Luka in the Bosnian Serb entity and investigators are interested in what he did there and who he was in contact with.

Local media such as Nezavisne Novine have already tried to find out details of Blazevic's years in Banja Luka but have not come up with anything of significance.

Soja said the Croatian and entity interior ministries had a good cooperation and that as soon as Blazevic was arrested, entity police director Gojsko Vasic extended assistance in the investigation.
