Volume was estimated at a mere 3,000 lots. March cotton settled 0.24 cent lower at 73.84 cents per pound, traded 74.20 to 73.80 cents. The back months went out 0.21 lower to 0.05 cent firmer. The most-active March contract is seen trading between 72.40 to 74.80 cents in the near term. 211058 MET jan 97
