The UNESCO-sponsored meeting takes place every two years. It was attended by ministers from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Montenegro, Greece, Moldova, Serbia, Romania and Turkey.
Participants agreed on the need to strengthen the partnership between the public and private sectors in science, technology and innovation as well as cooperation through international projects and funds that support research, said the host of the meeting, Bosnian Civilian Affairs Minister Sredoje Novic.
