Both President Ivo Josipovic and Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic mentioned the fact that crimes were committed and the fact that these crimes were not punished, however, their comments were covered up by other gestures and they did not find the right measure in dealing with this situation or resisting the atmosphere that was created through the media, said Pupovac in an interview with Belgrade B92 TV.
Pupovac believes that the acquittal of Croatian generals will make it difficult to build relations between the two countries.
Many Serbs will question what it will be like to be a Serb in Croatia today, Pupovac said.
The current situation makes it difficult for the highest officials in both countries to consider meeting with each other and relations today are further apart than they were yesterday, he said.
