(Hina) - The decision of the Appeals Chamber of the
International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia to acquit
Croatian Generals Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markac was breaking news in
the electronic media and on web portals in Serbia and in Bosnia and
Herzegovina. The acquittal ensued after in April 2011, the tribunal's
trial chamber found the two generals guilty of war crimes during and
after Operation Storm which crushed a Serb insurgency in central and
southern Croatia in the summer of 1995.
