Swiss parliamentary delegation on visit to Croatia

ZAGREB, Oct 29 (Hina) - Croatia and Switzerland cooperate successfully, and both countries are willing to upgrade their relations after Croatia enter the European Union on 1 July 2013, the head of the Croatian parliamentary foreign affairs committee, Milorad Pupovac said in Zagreb on Monday after talks with a delegation of the foreign affairs committee of the Swiss Federal Assembly's Council of States.

This Swiss parliamentary delegation arrived in Zagreb on Monday for a two-day working visit.

Hannes Germann, the head of the delegation, told reporters that Switzerland was impressed by Croatia's progress on the road towards the EU.

The Swiss guests will be received by top Croatian officials, including President Ivo Josipovic, on Tuesday.
