(Hina) - The trial of Tomislav Mercep for war crimes
against Serb civilians, committed in the Zagreb, Kutina and Pakrac
areas in 1991, resumed before the Zagreb County Court on Thursday when
a documentary called "Pavilion 22" was shown in courtroom in which
many former state and judicial officials and Mercep's fellow-fighters
speak about forming a reserve unit of the Interior Ministry and the
notorious pavilion of the Zagreb Fairground (ZV) in which, according
to the indictment, Serb civilians were detained, tortured and later
taken to the Pakrac area to be executed.
