BRUSSELS, June 14
(Hina) - The European Union on Thursday called on
the newly-elected President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, to play a
positive and constructive role in the region "in words and deeds",
stressing that normalisation of relations with Kosovo was a key
requirement for Serbia to obtain a date for the opening of accession
negotiations.
