ZAGREB, May 25
(Hina) - The United States' State Department on
Friday issued a regular report on the state of human rights in the
world and the section on Croatia describes the country as a
constitutional parliamentary democracy in which major problems
regarding human rights are cases of societal discrimination and
certain cases of violence against ethnic minorities, notably against
the Serbs and the Roma, examples of rising intolerance against the
LGBT community as well as corruption in state structures.
