Mrsic pointed to the need of developing business ethics both among employers and workers.
He recalled that Croatia had about two million employees 20 years ago as against 1.35 million now, saying pensioners were not to blame for the current difficulties. Their number is what it is and we must work on job creation, he said.
The minister said the goal of the National Employment Stimulation Plan was to prepare the unemployed, in times when there was no job creation, for the time when jobs would be created.
He invited everyone who was interested to take part in drawing European Union funds for labour to which Croatia would have access as of July 2013, when it joins the Union.
