ZAGREB, May 4
(Hina) - Hrvoje Petrac and Ivan Matekovic, against
whom a higher court upheld a trial court verdict sentencing them for
the kidnapping of the son of a former general and assistant defence
minister, Vladimir Zagorec, must pay Zagorec 750,000 euros plus
interest as compensation for the ransom he gave the kidnappers, the
Zagreb Municipal Criminal Court ruled on Friday.
