Lagumdzija was speaking to reporters after meeting, in his capacity as president of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), with Milorad Dodik, leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD).
Lagumdzija said that the leaders of the parties making up the six-member governing coalition were fully aware of the need for Bosnia and Herzegovina to be ready when Croatia joins the EU on July 1, 2013. He said that it was of vital importance for his country to equip at least three of its border crossings with Croatia for the export of products of animal origin.
"At least three are needed and four would be optimum," Lagumdzija said, adding that those should be the border crossings at Gradiska, Izacic-Licko Petrovo Selo, and two crossings at the entry and exit of pan-European transport corridor 5c through Bosnia and Herzegovina.
