Pusic said that people had a right to choose how they would live, that all people must be treated equally before the law, and that the ruling coalition had received public trust at a parliamentary election for such a view on artificial insemination legislation. She quoted a section of the coalition's election platform as saying that the law should be further liberalised to give single women the right to artificial insemination.
