(Hina) - The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of
Science, Education and Sport said in a joint statement on Friday that
the proposed closure of the news desks for culture, education, and
national minorities, diaspora and civil society at the national
broadcasting company HRT was unwarranted and would considerably reduce
the space for the production and broadcasting of programmes that fall
within the domain of public television.
