HBOR, Montenegrin investment and development fund sign cooperation deal

ZAGREB, March 22 (Hina) - The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Montenegrin Investment and Development Fund, aimed at establishing cooperation in promoting trade and investments between Montenegro and Croatia and joint projects on third markets.

The cooperation agreement between the two institutions was signed on Wednesday by HBOR managing board president Anton Kovacev and the president of the Montenegrin Investment and Development Fund management board, Dragan Lajovic, HBOR said in a statement on Thursday.

The agreement is aimed at defining the framework for future cooperation between the two institutions so as to promote trade and investments between Montenegro and Croatia.

Cooperation also envisages the training of employees, mutual visits as well as seminars and round table debates.

The Montenegrin Investment and Development Fund was founded in late December 2009. Its 100-percent owner is the Montenegrin government. It started working in March 2010.
