(Hina) - MPs of the ruling Social Democratic Party
(SDP) and the Croatian People's Party (HNS) on Thursday endorsed
amendments to the law on the protection and preservation of the
cultural heritage which revoke the indirect monument annuity from
March 1 until December 31, while the opposition Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ) said this was an only apparent relief on the economy.
