ZAGREB, Nov 24 (Hina) - Croatian Vice-Premier and Foreign Minister
Dr.Mate Granic met today with the Swedish Foreign Minister Baroness
Margaretha af Ugglas, a statement released by the Croatian Foreign
Ministry says.
Minister Granic told his Swedish counterpart about Croatia's views on
the reintegration of the occupied Croatian territories, stopping the war
in Bosnia-Herzegovina and reaching a permanent solution for the entire
territory of the former Yugoslavia as expressed in President Tudjman's
peace initiative. He recalled Croatia's efforts for relieving the
humanitarian situation in B-H and releasing the prisoners, and that
Croatia has condemned all crimes regardless of which side had committed
them as well as that it requires punishment for all those who committed
them.
Minister Ugglas expressed Sweden's concern with the fighting in central
Bosnia and the deteriorating humanitarian situation. She also stressed
that Sweden supports territorial integrity of the Republic of Croatia
and the peaceful reintegration of the occupied parts of the Republic on
the "step by step" principle with the respect and guarantees for the
minority rights according to the international standards.
